ABOUT
Spray Tan is a fast growing, popular beauty tanning treatment. An alternative to sunbathing and sun-beds, more and more people are using fake tanning techniques, as they become more aware of the damage effects of the sun and UV rays.
With the right solutions and professional application spray tanning is guaranteed to get a natural looking flawless tan with no streaks and without the dreaded orange look.
How does it work?
The tanning solutions contain DHA of Dihydroxy Acetone, which is a naturally occurring sugar. It is used as a sweetener in many products. An HVLP system is used to spray a mixture of tanning solutions and air directly onto the skin, which will then develop over the following 5-8hrs into a lovely natural looking tan.How long does it last?
An amazing 6-10 days depending on your skin type and skin care regime.Does it smell?
Many people can’t smell the product whatsoever, whilst others are able to detect a very mild caramel like smell? The smell doesn’t linger long on the skin. What will I look like just after treatment?
You will have an instant tan; maybe with a little excess in some areas, this is normal as the solution takes longer to dry in different places. After 8hrs or left overnight you will be able to wash as normal. You will notice a lot of solution coming off the skin, this is quite normal, once patted dry your skin will look amazing, and naturally bronzed. What if I have pale skin?
Great news for you!!!!! We cater for all skin types. We will chose a spray with lower DHA. Our 8% bronze is the best for pale skin as it delivers a fantastic colour without looking unnatural. What if I have sensitive skin?
People with sensitive skin need not despair we use natural based solutions, there is no alcohol or perfumes to irritate the skin. The solution has fantastic hydrating properties, which actually help many sensitive skins. However, if in doubt we suggest a patch test first for piece of mind. What if I am pregnant?
We don’t recommend that pregnant women in the first trimester receive spray tan. There is no harmful chemicals in our solutions at all but during these times hormone levels can alter quite dramatically and could cause patchy tan to develop, whilst others become sensitive to different products so this advice is a general precaution. What if I have a skin condition?
Spray tanning should not be carried out if you suffer from bad eczema or psoriasis or if you have an open wounds or cuts and grazes.© SpraytanUK.com 2007
